Cecil E. West is a dedicated professional with 25 years of experience as a freelance videographer, having worked with prominent networks such as ESPN, Big Ten Network, and NFL Network. His career in media is complemented by a strong educational foundation, including a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Cincinnati and training as an alumnus of The Ohio Center for Broadcasting. 

A passionate mentor and advocate for youth development, Cecil has spent years actively serving his community. He has coached various youth sports in Akron’s recreational leagues and served as a football coach at Akron’s Central-Hower High School. Throughout his coaching career, Cecil has used sports as a platform to teach valuable life skills, instill discipline, and forge lasting relationships with his players. His commitment to the growth of young men is reflected in his ability to connect with and guide them, ensuring that the lessons extend far beyond the field. 

Cecil is a firm believer in the principles of faith, focus, and perseverance, encapsulated in his personal mantra, “The 3 F’s: Faith, Focus, and Finish.” These guiding values shape his approach to mentoring, emphasizing the importance of integrity, determination, and resilience.
